Ella Samson

Ella Samson is a workforce gender equity leader and founder of Emerge Collaborations, a gender equity consulting firm. Emerge specializes in guiding enterprises enhance the satisfaction and productivity of their gender-diverse workforce through gender-inclusive enterprise policies, processes, and culture.
 
Ella has a 25+ year track record of success in large enterprises and small business in driving positive change through new systems, improved programming, and updated process and policy. Her leadership at Deloitte Consulting LLP, Peet's Coffee & Tea, and others have had a lasting meaningful impact to support enterprise growth. 
 
Her journey of emergence, particularly during her time at Deloitte, set the stage for her to thrive across all areas of her life, including the workplace. Ella's memoir, which explores her struggle with gender identity and her eventual emergence, will be published in 2025. She vulnerably shares her story with the objective to help senior enterprise leadership, including the C-suite, better understand gender identity and inspire action to foster Belonging and optimize enterprise outcomes. 
 
Ella has an MBA from the Wharton School and leads the Boston Chapter of Women Who Whiskey. She strives to live with authenticity, present moment awareness, connection, and love. Her passions include international travel, staying fit, delicious food, sci-fi, and her wire-haired dachshund. She is grateful to serve the board of the MA LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
