Membership and Engagement Director

Angie Montalvo, originally from New York, is now based in Western MA, where she serves as the Membership and Engagement Director for the MA LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce.

With extensive experience in both large and small companies, Angie is a self-proclaimed "retail baby" who spent 20 years at IKEA. During her tenure, she supported the implementation of a human resources system across 26 countries. Today, she connects with and supports LGBTQ+-owned businesses throughout the Commonwealth and leads business and community efforts to strengthen and enhance the ecosystem.

Her superpower is connecting entrepreneurs with the resources that help businesses grow and thrive.

Angie embraces all her identities: Mom, daughter, partner, Puerto Rican, lesbian, and Bronx native. These labels shape her perspective on the world.
